Take a deep breath and relax, if you don't know your stuff by now then you're not going to know it.

Have a relaxing cuppa and skim over your notes, trying to remember only the key facts.

    Good Luck! :thumbleft

    Thanks guys!!

    I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to top things off i got 826/900!!

    :D :D

    Im now A+ certified!

Was a strange exam - i had 2 identical questions! i reckon about 10-15 core HW questions, about 5 of which were asking me about ESD and another 5 on how to dispose of laptop batteries :biggrin And the normal ethical questions

    Off to the network+ forum now i guess! (after a break8) )

    Congrats!

CompTIA seems to do this duplicated question thing quite often. I've had it and I've seen others comment about it.

    Thanks guys! :cheers :alc :beers2

Was clearing up my A+ files and had a look at the network+ objectives and thats scaring me! With the A+ i felt i had some good experience to start off with (building home pc's etc) but i dont have a lot of networking experience. I want to head to security+ but i know i shouldnt skip straight to it even though its tempting! :D

Ohh i just remembered something else - they had a question on windows server 2003 on there! surley that shouldnt be? Obviously i cant mention the actual question - but it was specific to that OS, i took a guess, but still a bit strange!

And i also wanted to thank everyone for their quick and helpfull replies to my questions over the last few months and also encouragement to do the A+

Congratulations Steve. Regarding the weird questions, I also had a couple that were srtictly hardware questions and I think one was not on the requirements of either exam. My hardware exam was perfectly straight laced however.

Congrats on the A+ pass Steve.

It seems you guys learning the A+ need to add to your lists of possible topics now and start digging into server 2003

Seriously though, how could a question on Server 2003 end up in the A+ :blink
