I am looking to study for an Oracle OCP qualification, can anyone recommend a good training provider in the UK that I can study the 1Z0-042 couse.

The only Oracle training provider I have been to is the Oracle University. The course I did (Java rather than OCP) was good, but pricey (but I wasn't paying!).

You could always do some of it with home study to keep the price down.

How much Oracle experience do you have? I ask because many of the DBAs here don't actually hold OCP - they have experience instead!
