    just having my first play with 2 Mb broadband after many years with dial-up and all i can say is why why why have i waited to get this....lightening fast!!! :ohmy

    Although I am with Plusnet Premier my line can only "handle" 1 Meg. Apparently, BT are planning to sort out my exhange in September which hopefully I will be on 2 too!

    well Telewest broadband is best really. a 2Mb connection, no contention ratio, no limited downloads...I am just smiling now :D I think they should have Telewest throughout the UK...then everyone would be laughing...shame they cant tho...but I am happy I got it...

    Nice one Stupot - was only recently I made to ADSL on a 1 Meg line. However, I understand Bulldog have just announce an 8 Meg package for £20 a month ???!!! :blink:eek:

    You are dependant on your exchange Gav. Although I believe Bulldog are putting there own gear in the BT exchanges you still rely on the lines from the exchange to your house.
    With Bulldog you have the phone off them as well.
