Was bored tonight so decided to go to my betfair account and do a bit of black jack, 3 card poker and roulette. I was doing rubbish and was down 40 overall and decided to play a bandit machine game. Anyway, i played for an hour and i was up to £117, so thought id call it in and withdraw the money as id won it back fair and square. However im a bit peed off, firstly, the money will take 3-5 days to get into my account, when your putting money in their account, it takes seconds, also they charged me £12 for the privilidge of withdrawing my winning, at that rate its dearer than using paypal. I think that this is unfair, however should i be miffed or put it down to experience???

Think ill not bother withm them anymore and get out while im on the up lol

    Hi Ed,

I'm glad you've experienced getting ripped off because TBH online gambling is a mugs game. The house ALWAYS wins so you should count yourself very lucky you have got off so lightly IMHO. One of my mates lost about a grand over 6 weeks on online slot machines, bad times

Scrap doing the online gambling. Get down to your local bookie (preferabley independent) and soak up the atmosphere and the banter. The point of the bookies for me is a lot to do with the soical side of things. Plus you will have the cash in hand without the need to wait days for it to hit your account. Never took to online gambling as it feels a little wrong for me, like drinking on your own or something:twisted:

The problem with online gambling (especially roulette) is that you can play loads of games in a short period of time whereas in a proper casino there is a pause between each game.

The more games you play the more chance you will end up losing the lot imo.

I just stick to football betting now…..
