I'm getting ready to take the Security + (101) exam. I was wondering will I need to take the bridge test to become certified?

No, you do not need to take the bridge exam. It's only there if:

    1. Your employer wants you to be certified under the new 2008 objectives
    2. If you really feel the need to take another Security+ exam.

It is CompTIA's policy that our certifications are good for life.
