well I have been given some versions of james pyles pc technicians (isbn: 978-0-470-08458-8)

and network administrator street smarts (isbn: 978-0-470-43100-9)

Are these books too old for helping me too pass the current exams? i plan to purchase mike myers books for both as well come payday.

any advice would be most welcome

I've only had experience with the Mike Meyers book. This along with Professor Messer's online videos helped me to achieve my A+. Hope this helps.
