I was looking for available dates for both my A+ exams as I want to take them at the end of April and I also wanted to go to another test centre (Taitec in Newcastle) the bloody place is fully booked all year acording to the pearson vue website :blink

I don't really want to go back to the test centre where I tood the PDI+ beta as it was noisy and there were lots of distractions :(

Looks like I may have no choice, unless I go to the one in Sunderland or Lancaster but have no idea where they are as I have nver visited those cities before.

MTC in Sunderland is easy to get to!

its where I've sat all bar 1 of my exams.

If you want directions, just ask.

Strange one that, the Prometric site seems to update daily with test dates.

    Any other test centres available?

cool, I have never been to sunderland properly before only to idols for the miss wet-tshirt competition. I know I can get to Sunderland by metro its from there I wont know, unless driving there from Newcastle is easy.

Any info would be appreciated thanks.

I was trying to book a Sec+ exam at the place I took my Net+.. again with Pearson Vue. PV emailed me and said they had stopped doing tests there, and advised me that the other centre near me (in Newark) always shows as fully booked because they only accept students who are doing courses with them. :dry

That may be why Taitec is shown as fully booked as well...

Raffaz has taken his exams at Taitec in the past, but you could be right this could be a new thing they have introduced as I find it difficult to believe that the place is fully booked for every single day this year.

When I sat my one and only certification exam last year, I was the only one in the testing room.
    In other words: no distractions.

when I took my PDI+ beta exam it was in a small test centre what I didn't know was it was also an internet cafe part job centre so there were loads of meths and tits who didn't know how to use the internet and they kept calling the administrator over to help. So I don't want to go back there again.

Hello did i miss something whilst living up in Durham last year for a few months?
I went to Sunderland a few times and never saw anything other than wind & rain?
Oh and the odd RNLI launch for nutters trying to surf.
    No wet-tshirt comps at all!

Idols had them all the time, when I was living in Newcastle for a year. The sunderland club was more raunchy than the Newcastle one but both were good :D

They used to promos like guess the girls cup size and win a bottle wine.

It's ridiculous isn't it? Mind you, Sunderland doesn't sound too bad mate.

I reckon I will have to schedule the Sec+ for when I am next down in London on business... :dry

I don't fancy driving into Nottingham or Leeds, trying to find the test centre, and then be in a relaxed frame of mind for the exam.

I reckon Vue and Prometric shouldn't let 'em offer themselves as an exam centre if they won't take non-enrolled people.

    Think I'll do Sunderland

They're probably trying to force people into some course there's no need in doing.
