Man I so wish I was there, One of my friends works for EVE the company that supply the security fencing for the whole site and she got FREE tickets for her and her partner. Gutted!!!!

I watched some of the coverage on BBC interactive last night with a few beers but its just not the same, I might camp in the back yard tonight and not shower for the whole weekend to try and bring the Glastonbury vibe back..... I don't thing Laura would appreciate it though

Interesting to read that most of the tents have been swamped and the ground is so soft that the tent pegs do not stay in the ground when erecting the tents.
Despite the weather conditions 177,500 festival-goers are still enjoying the festival according to the BBC

    Brilliant, Pete - thanks :thumbleft

Think I mentioned in the request thread, highlights of yesterday for me were deffo the Fratellis, closely followed my Bloc Party. Arcade Fire had some memorable moments also.

Lo-lights - Rufus & Martha Wainwright absolutely murdering Hallelujah. It's a song I've only quite recently come to, from Cohen, to Cash to Buckley(s) so I can appreciate it's full beauty.

Today/night should be good. I think Paolo Nuttini is hitting the Pyramid about now, and I heard a snippet of him earlier, saying he was hoping to get Paul Weller to guest . Aw, man .... :D

More later (as the beers settle in :biggrin )

    Fratellis on Friday

    Nope

I think most of the bands this year are shite, and Glastonbury is the most over-rated festival of the lot in any case. The only acts I'd be interested in seeing are Bjork, Kasabian, The Killers and The Who - and that ain't worth £200, ten hours' driving and four days sitting in the pissing down rain in a swamp for.

Must admit I do prefer Download as a music festival but there are a few good bands (The Killers and The Who) playing at Glastonbury.

Killers busy being awesome right now .. but I just can not get to like that keyboard stand made from antlers

The old "ironing board" X-stands always did fine for my rigs - all deer left intact ...

    Baba o'Reilly - stunning !!!!!

Pete's introduction of the band was fab:

"The last time he (Zak) was on this stage, it was with someone else - now he's here with us"
