I'm unable to open my Outlook, when I try to I get the error msg Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window.
I did a scanpst it found errors fix them & still will not open.

What can be the issue?

I have also done a reinstall.

Assuming you have other office applications installed - are they functioning correctly?

have you followed the link GiddyG gave? If so and it still doesnt work, i would suggest creating another mail profile within control panel and try and launch.

 

Are you sure email account was set-up/configured correctly? I've seen this happen where customer had set up Hotmail incorrectly in Outlook 2007.

 

Just did another reinstall & all is good now.
Yes the other apps worked.

You could of used the /reset switch I think when opening.
