So I splurged the other week, someone was selling a brand new and sealed Rift on eBay so I picked up a relative bargain and have played around with it.

I am really impressed with it, the surround and head tracking is amazing but due to studying commitments I didn't have the time to dedicate to gaming so I haven't used it as much as I would like.

I can tell you that Eve looks amazing in it, as does Project Cars and ED.

Looking forward to spending some time in the rift over the next couple of weeks

I think I will wait till it comes down in price as well as seeing what next gen consoles are going to be offering.

 

It's amazing mate, sit further back and you can see your body etc, it just knows where you are in relationship to the cockpit.

i've just cancelled my EvE subscription after 7 years, but someone at work who is heavily into racing sims is thinking of getting one so might get a chance to try before thinking of buying

 

This was more Eve Valkyrie but the racing sim I do have (Project Cars) is amazing, tempted with a Logitech Wheel and stick.
