    Hello all

I have an older blank machine that we are recycling and the message

"NTLDR file missing" or something similar. Can anyone point me in the direction of finding this file and tell me how to install it!

    Cheers

    1) There may be a floppy in the floppy drive.

    2) If this machine is genuinely blank then reformat it.

    3) If this machine is supposed to be able to boot run 'fixboot' from the Recovery Console.

Then use fdisk or similar to remove the partition table.

Even better use one of the utils that will zero out the first sector.
