Hi everyone, just wanted to make a quickly introduce myself.

My name is Chris, I live & work in Essex, UK.

    Bit of background:
I graduated from uni 3 years ago with a BSc in Computing (Software Engineering), spent the next 3 months on the dole looking for work before getting a job as a finance system support administrator in the financial services sector. I have worked there for over 2 years whilst trying to find work in any IT field (however I do love programming ideally want to work in this field).

In my spare time I enjoy Wing Chun and fishing (have recently taken up Cat Fishing for the added challenge), and when I am not doing that I am generally glued to my pc.

    Nice to meet you all

    Chris

    Thanks

At uni I mainly did java & C++, but lately I have been looking mainly at vb2008 & .net 3.5.

At work, I build lots of macro's using vba so think that might be affecting my choice abit as it feels familiar.

Every journey starts with a single step and not every conflict needs to be settled physically. It's as much mental as physical training, don't worry that's why the constant training (even though I don't train as much as I should :( ).
