    Hi, everyone,

I'm new to being a member of this site but have been looking in from time to time for guidence & info for the last year or so.
10 months ago I took a voluntary redundancy from my job as I was soooooo bored with it and with the redundancy money it meant I could take some time off and retrain hopefully for a rewarding career in IT !!
So, 10 months ago I'm reading your posts about Computeach after I had their rep bloke around. He suggested I give them £5000 and they would assist with my training ! I'm glad I didn't.

I found that buying the odd book and searching the net, you can find pretty much everything you need to self / home study for very little money. The exams are the expensive things.

So in the 10 months I've managed to do my Comptia A+ and Network+ along with MCP 70-270 and My MCDST 70-271,70-272. Which I'm obviously pretty pleased with.

Don't really know what next study wise ????

But I have decided that I really need to get back to work !!!!
Anyone who knows of any good jobs in Bristol, let me know !
I've spent the last few days searching the net and I think my brain is melting.

    Cheers Guys.

Thank you all for the welcome :biggrin

In reply to Bluerinse, I was considering maybe doing my MCSE, but thought it may be easier to do some of the MCP's if I can get a job dealing with the various stuff - active directory, servers etc, etc.
All my studying to date has been at home and is XP related which I'm pretty good with but I think it would be easier to understand more complicated stuff if exposed to it daily.

    James,

I agree. I for one, seem to learn easier from looking and <doing> something, which is why i have set up my own domain at home.

    Good luck :thumbleft
