Hello everyone, stumbled accross this site as at the moment I am trying to find a cource to get an IT qualification, hopefully MCSE but I'm still looking into which ones best and how to do it without paying out 1000's of pounds with a company.

will of course be searching the forums but any advice on the way will be appreciated.

    Thanks all :biggrin

    Hi Ken,

Well, I was just about to put a "help" post up in anothe part of the forum but i suppose that this is a good-a-part as any.

I'm 26 and when I left school i started an IT GNVQ in Computer systems and networking and then the company went bust i ended up with nothing.
So back then i was building pc's, repairing, fixing laptops and upgrading. doing a bit of work on printers too.
also a small amount of networking, only small stuff tho.
a lot has changed since then, i left that job and chased money in customer services and have been stuck in that rut since.

(everyone should have violins out at this point)

Started a MCSE with Skillstrain, damn them. that didnt work at all. due to personal problems and lack of knowledge i just wanted to get back in IT and get qualified.

So now, i find myself back after 8 months of travelling, back in customer service, trying to get a qualification to lead onto a job within IT which i would enjoy.

So im not sure what to go for at the moment and am open for any advice.

Thanks again for taking time to read
