Thanks for the support guys, I am a little worried about how to approach the interview, everyone in the dept is laid back and we all have a good crack on, more like mates than work collegues, I could either go down the road of just treating it as an informal chat or I could treat it as a proper interview.......... has anyone else been in a similar position??

I think i will go down the proper interview route.

Well I'm hardly any great shakes at interview techniques, but I'd say that that sounds like the proper option mate.

    IMHO :D

Your right, theres no question really, it's just that I had previously worked at there before I was offered an interview for my current postion on a temp contract and the interview for my current job lasted about 30 Sec's, basically this is the job role, how do you feel about it and when can you start, I said NOW and they said lets go and find you a desk then.

Just to keep you all up to date, I had my interview yesterday and got the job. I am now a Network Engineer, or as they like to call it at work a network support analyst.

    Woo Hoo :D

I wil start a new thread soon in here with some of the questions that were asked at the interview, they were'nt very difficult but it might give some people so help with regards to what to expect
