i posted a new thread a few days ago and not one reply, i must of got ahead of myself and forgot to introduce myself, hello, i joined last year and have been reading a lot of threads, the forums are very good and lot of help to a lot of people. Keep up the good work guys

I eventually want to be in tech support / Pc tech at what stage would you recommend applying for entry level positions while doing my A+ ?

 

ASAP, you can put in your application that you are studying. Go for entry level/trainee roles.

 

Even at the ripe old age of 39, is this going to be a challenge ?

 

no there are some people on here much older than you and haven't been in IT for long.

Age doesn't matter, 39 isn't old anyway.

Good luck with the A+, you are never too old to get into IT. I wish there were more 30+ starting out in IT. "Sometimes" school leavers are nothing but trouble
