New SCSI systems

    Has anyone recently seen a new SCSI system installtion? If so, what was the application?

    Many - but then I'm in a serious application environment.

    The point about SCSI is that it is a mature multi-disk system that can be configured to work well (in our case with databases).

    And there are a number of problems with IDE and databases that make people avoid IDE (which includes most SATA).
