    Thanks guy's. :thumbleft

Apologies for not replying to this thread sooner, but since I resigned I've never been busier! Seems everything has been stored up and waiting for me! I even had a laser printer toner explode on me yesterday! Now that is an experience you don't get everyday!

It seems that my school are so disapointed that I'm going that they have organised with my new place for me to stay on with them for a day or two a week during the summer and possibly beyond until my replacement gets up to speed. I can't tell you how good it feels to be 'wanted'! :biggrin

I bet they are sorry to see you go Si.

Do you normally roll out new images and other maintenance during the hols then?

Yep, every desktop gets a new image pushed out to it each summer full of shiny new updates and software. At last check the image sat at about 12GB.

Well done matey. I hope it turns out to be all you expected and hoped for.

Similar situation for myself & WagnerK Boyce. We do most of our large projects during the school holidays including rolling out new software builds etc.. we have a busy summer coming up but it's the most rewarding type of work we find. It's especially nice to be able to focus on big jobs and not have the constant interruption of the normal school grind (kids & teachers).
