Well it was my 2nd day at my first IT job today. I'm knackered as I'm not used to getting up at 6 everyday. It's a ok job I guess, but the superviser is very ignorant and seems to be p*ssed off all the time. I've noticed she only respects the guys who have been there longer. I walked in this morning and she didn't say anything to me, she would of ignored me if i hadnt of said morning. Anyone have similar stories?

The contract is only for a few months so I could be offered to stay and extend the contract or leave and go somewhere else.

    Kraven,

The more jobs you have, the more you learn about working environments. There is usually always someone moody, lazy, happy, moaning etc wherever you work.

I wouldn't take anything to "heart" and crack on with work. Who knows, once the supervisor notices your skills you might be offered a perminent position and a welcome every morning.

    Good luck.

Yeah I think I'll stick it, the moneys really good and goes even higher in a few months time. And I'm learning quite alot even though theres so much to take in. I think I'm just finding everything hard as I've come from working 2 days a week (not full days) to working fulltime. And its a really big strange place to me.

Only your second day? So you have not being pissed off by some clients who f*cked up completely and want you to fix it in less then a second? You have not been held responcable for something you did not do?
