    Just wanted to say hi, I'm Matt, I'm doing Computer Science at Portsmouth, am a Software Engineer for a company called Xyratex. Specialities include Linux and C/C++. Love playing the guitar and Pink Floyd

    Hi Matt and welcome to the forum.

    I love playing guitar too and Pink Floyd are way up there as one of my all time favourite bands.

    Our band in the UK used to play Time off Dark Side of the Moon. After much practise it actually became our best rendition and our followers loved it.

    In short, reputation is a way of saying "thank you" for help or good advice in an individual post. Power is an indication of your time and experience here, based mostly on post count (shut it !!) and also on Member status, I believe.
