    Hi there

    I am currently studing the security + at a local college.

    I have studied a no of books available(incl Sybex) which include sample questions are the same for old and new curriculum.

    What is the addition please to new 2008 course

    Any advice would be great

    Well I found this on the CompTIA website. It's a Press Release about the new exam. I'm sure if you have a look at their site you'll find the info you require
    Certifications: BA (Hons), MBCS, CITP, MInstLM, ITIL v3 Fdn, PTLLS, CELTA
    WIP: CMALT (about to submit), DTLLS (on hold until 2012)

    If you go to the CompTIA site and the Security+ section of the site there is an option to download the objectives - the old '02 and the new '08 objectives can both be downloaded. Within the '08 objectives download if you scan through the PDF any items in italics are updates from the previous '02 exam, handy for spotting changes if you are using older reading materials. Please do bear in mind that this is a draft specification for the moment though. Hope this helps.
