If you're doing CompTIA Network+ then there is only the one exam. It is the A+ that has two exams.

I used the Transcender test engine for both of those as they came with the course my employer paid for. I'm waiting to try out Boson for Security+ though I hear good things about them so am hoping it'll be better.

They were pretty difficult and taught me a few things that were outside of the book I used to revise from. A thread RE the difficulty of Transcender exams has been started here ; only my post back so far but am sure others will jump into the fray.

601 & 602 are very near done and gone now. I'm pretty sure the cut off date has already passed or is over the next few days. The one's you'd need to sit now are 220-701 and 220-702 which are the 2009 Objectives. The Network+ is N10-004.

Check out CompTIA's site for more info; http://www.comptia.org/certifications.aspx

That's the same exam unless you are part of Comptia's E2C program you would take the N100-004.

I think the JK0-016 is the Japanese/Korean version of the exam, someone will probably correct me if i'm wrong but there is definitely just one exam.

Although I am heavily biased towards my employer's products, we do not have an updated Network+ exam at present. :( Unfortunately, I don't believe it will be ready by the time you will need it.

Some others are MeasureUp (which is often packaged with an ExamCram book), uCertify (which is having a sale that ends today if you get two exams). Although I think their sale often lasts longer. I did that this Spring for N+ and S+ and saved some money.

Georgie - am with you just started my N+ training and I hope to pass it by the end of this year so I don't get stuck with the 3yr re-newel. Just passed the A+ with Test Out which I think is great with all the detail it's got in it.

Good luck ! I wonder when the N10-004 is due to retire??
