I've bitten the bullet and booked my Network+ exam for Wed 22nd Nov - 2 days time.

I've studied all I can now and I've done 3 Transcender full exams and I'm getting more than 80% so I think it's time. They ARE supposed to be slightly harder than the real one, are they not?

just out of interest, how long have you been studying for Network+, just I'm struggling to get started

Wow ! Well, I got 805 out of 900 but wow was it tough - or, at least it seemed tough.

Felt the financial pressure of having to pass along with arriving to the centre by car with no money and having to park at a meter. Scraped £1.20 but that only gave me an hour and there were wardens everywhere. What a kerfuffle.

@ Rafek - Been on and off studying for a year but went at it solidly for the last 2 months

My Thanks to:

My Network+ Syngress book ( loads of typos and the odd blatant error, like "remember FTP uses port 25") Good book though

TestOut - 2cds ( a nice complement to a book, has interactive simulations to learn with )

Transcender - 3 Full exam tests which were good

Forums and the net for information (endless amounts of useful information )

And last but by no means least is CertForums CHEERS GUYS

Cheek - Was thinking about 70-270 but I've been listening to what Boyce and one or 2 others have said in other threads about the two MCDST ones being a more gradual way in to the 270 exam. You know, getting used to MS exams and such. I'm in no great rush. Just wanna learn the stuff thoroughly.

So I think I'll hit 70-271 & 70-272 next.
