    hey guys

i am using Boson netsim 6 to practice the switching commands for ICND1. The problem is that it doesnt let me use some commands like 'line' context setting command. is it because its a demo version or something else...

What commands are you trying? like line vty 0 4 and line con 0? Although I don't work on NetSim, to my knowledge, those are available.

If you're interested, NetSim 7 for the CCNA and CCENT has just been released. :)

precisely, both the line commands you mentioned dont work. the error is something like "% invalid input detected at '^' marker" and the marker ^ points to the 'L' of the 'line' command. Just to make it clear, i am in the right context, my prompt is switch(config)#

Will shoot it to the appropriate channels. Shake my chain if you don't see a response soon.
