N+ or MCP

I've been offered the chance to do either Network+ or MCP at a local College at a hefty discount.
All i have to pay is for the course book & exam fee/s

But which qualification would offer me more of a chance to get a job within the IT Industry?
I already have A+

Either would be fine. I could see either Network+ or 70-271 being of use.

Which one would be better? Depends on where you're applying... different companies want different skills. And both are useful.

 

Which course work will you need more help with? You could probably self study for either cert and be ok but since you have this opporunity in front of you, you might as well take advantage of it. Decide which cert material you find the most difficult (Network+ or 70-271) and choose that college course. Self study the other as you can. They will both be useful.

 

Honestly I agree with BM and Trip, they are both good. It also depends which one at the moment will benefit you more.

 

read the syllabus for both and weigh up each pros and cons against what you're looking for in a qualification.
