This may seem a little out there but this sort of a manifesto.

As of late the atmosphere around CF has been very tense and is now really starting to get on my nerves.

This one of the reasons why my activity on here as of late has started to drop off lately.

Another thing is due to personal reasons. So the last thing I want to see on here is the backbiting and constant sniping that appears to be going on between members.

I hold my hand up and say I have been a part of the sniping that has been going on.

So from this day forward I'm not partaking in any of the childish behaviour that is going on. I'm going to read the threads but refrain from responding.

Having a laugh and a joke is one thing, but actual sniping isn't I'm sure we can all get back to having a laugh and a joke like we used to.

So if you do see me responding, please refer me back to this thread to remind me to keep quiet.

Thank you for listening to my "grumblings."

Not got any specific examples, maybe my perception on things is changing. As I've said, I'm no longer getting involved in threads were they are getting "heated".

    Very big attitude.:clap

I for one have to back you on this one. I've been noticing this a fair bit recently. And at one point in the near past was actually seriously considering leaving over it. However, if everyone who has a problem with that sort of behaviour leaves, then theres nothing to maintain the reputation of the forum, and it will just degenerate from there. I personally have gained a lot from this forum, and have a vested interest in seeing it go from strength to strength.

I'm not going to name names here. I made my complaint about the incident in question to the mods. Its up to them what they choose to do with it. But perhaps everyone on this forum should take heed of Wizards sentiments, and review their own behaviour. Sniping, backbiting, bitching, and flaming does not reflect well on this forum, and is likely to drive new (or potential) members away. I know that if I'd read some of the posts on this forum recently as a new member I may not have joined.

Must admit Wizard, it takes a big man to admit when he is also at fault. Rep given.
