    Hi,

Recently sat the Excel Expert exam and just failed. Must admit did not study as much as I should have done (cocky feeling having spent several years using excel!). Found the questions quite difficult compared to the on-line timed and none timed practice exam. Something I would like clarifying is whether I had a Vlookup or Hlookup question. The range that was named was a table across two rows, so I took it that it was a Hlookup reference(?).

Well I've learnt my lesson and will now dedicate much time to revision for the resit. I know that if you study well then the exam is readily passible.
I'd like to ask whether anyone has used study material other than the college booklet given out?

    Cheers,

    Hi SQLearner,

I would recommend using CBT to study for the exams. It gives you a lot more hands-on practice.

I passed the exams using books, CBT was not available, and looking at the stuff available these days makes me mad at all the time I had to sit there flicking through pages and reading instructions.
