Ok. now im getting slightly annoyed with this BT Home Hub. I now find that it periodically kills my connection. I still have my IP, and still have a signal, but cant contact any resources.

If i release/renew my IP, i get an error stating that i cant connect to my DHCP, and the only possible solution i can find is a reboot of the hub.

I'm now thinking that i would be better off just buying a new WAP (For instance: This One). what do you guys think? bearing in mind that the damn Home Hub was free.

Yeah, the BT line of equipment isn't the best. Bin (when funds allow) and replace with your chosen unit. :)

i suspect that, if you leave it the hell alone and just let it get on with things how they've programmed it, it works perfectly (assuming you let IT be DHCP, DNS and your gateway).

Deviate from the norm even slightly and it starts to cry it seems. Im surprised it hasnt found a gateway and tattled on me to BT. or maybe it has, and the BT police are coming to my door tonight.
