Got hold of this book today, was surprised how thick it was.

Anyway. It seems to cover material for all 4 CompTIA exams. I'm not sure how to continue, Is it possible to break down the material between Essentials and the other 3? Or will I just try get through the whole book at once?

I've had a quick flick through, and there doesn't seem to be way to break it down in a definitive 'this is Essentials material' or 'this is 602 material'

I suspect that this is because there is a *huge* crossover between the two exams. Much more than was the case with the previous version.

Your supposed to read it all.

There are parts where it may have a section relating to IT techncian exam but that does not mean that part will only appear on the 602 it could appear on any of the exams (just worded different) so its better to read the whole thing.
