Does anybody know what this error message means

    "MDATA.DAT file not found"

It doesn't affected the running of my machine. It's just more annoying than anything else.

What are you doing, man?!?!? You're giving away The Secret!!! If you let everyone in the world know how to search for stuff on Google, EVERYONE will be able to be a tech!! THEN how will we make a living? Did you think about that? Huh? HUH??? :ohmy

I didn't tell him how to search google. I simply provided a list of results from Google.

So really the secret is still safe. :biggrin

EDIT: Buck, you really cant begin to understand the power of Google in resolving problems. Got a problem? Chances are that someone somewhere in the world has experienced a similar problem and there will be a reference to it on the web. The key is being able to define the search terms. That separates a good tech from the rest.

Ok Boyce here you are - All I did was, search the for mdata.dat file cut & paste into my PS2 mouse folder. Problem solved.

You see the problem was all down to a wireless mouse, that I had installed yonks a go.
