Anyone used this course bundle. I know the book is meant to be full of errors but I think by the looks of it I will still be able to get some benefit from it. I'm mainly intrigued by the bundled Microsoft online course (as there isn't any according to MS listed under the exam learning list) Longshot I know finding someone who has bought this but thought I would ask. Again not that much good study material on this exam (which I find surprising).

Also is the 70-680 and say 70-686/685 the update for the MCDST?

I don't think the 70-680 MSPress book is any more riddled with errors than any other textbook.

The 70-682 upgrades your MCDST to MCITP:EDST, which is the 70-685+70-680 if you do them separately.

By the looks of the reviews it's riddled with typos and wrong answers. I've never seen so many reviews on a book mention errors as this book.

The book does have plenty of mistakes but you just need to print the errata out first and keep an eye for the errors. I used it and the measure up questions were pretty good for a freebie. Do take notice of the extra reading though. The Sybex one was good also.

Most of the errors are silly typos (APIPA address starts 168.254 for example). It makes them easy to spot so lots of people will notice them. I don't think it has any more mistakes than the 70-271 for example.

I've taken the plunge as the bundle is pretty cheap at PC World Books compared to Amazon. Cheers for the replies.
