Just about to start studying for this myself, after a bit of research I would recommend you are very comfortable with DNS and Routing and Remote Access, also make sure you know as much command line as you can for every topic the exam questions you on.

What study materials are you using?

DNS makes up a fair chunk of the exam. Make sure you know about subdomains, conditional forwarding, stub zones, etc real well, and when to use them. And familiarise yourself with the various consoles for DNS, RRAS, GPO, WSUS, Kerberos and all the rest.

 

I am using the official Microsoft kit, MeasureUp practice test and subnetting steps posted on this forum.

Misfortune strikes again through 70-291. Failed. There were 10 simulations out of the 40 questions. MeasureUP practice test which comes with Self-paced training kit was totally useless. Most of the simulation does not even come up on the screen (it doesn't work). I emailed their Support and did not get any response.

Sorry for the confusion. It was not on the actual exam. The simulations would not come up on practice test of MeasureUp which comes with the Self-paced Training Kit(Microsoft). I am thinking of getting some other practice test for simulation questions.
