    HI All,

Thought that I posted this here already (but must be mistaken)...

The new MCITP: VA credential, to gain this you have to pass 3 exams:

    1. 70-669: TS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Desktop Virtualization

    2. 70-652: TS: Windows Server Virtualization, Configuring or 70-659: TS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Server Virtualization and

    3. 70-693: Pro: Windows Server 2008 R2, Virtualization Administrator

This is different from what was first said from MS, a couple a months ago the 70-652 was not going to be an option plus you were going to have pass a SCVMM exam.

I'm considering it too, as I've already got the 70-652 :)

The 70-669 doesn't go live until May time, so in theory a month to study for the Pro exam? :)

We'll see, maybe Modey (Dom) will go for this...

I need a good kicking don't I. I'm gonna sort it ASAP because once I get my MCSE there's about 6 exams and counting now I'd like to do next so I'm really falling behind in the old self development

Interesting, I may have to slip this in to my CPD plan.

I'm finding that every other job advertised over here lists either ESX or Virtualisation knowledge. Now the VCP is out of the running due to costs but this one might just fit in nicely.

    Cheers for the info update.

most people that advertise for jobs with knowledge of virtualization, always specify vmare products. hyperv seams to be a little slow on the uptake. its a shame really as i would love to become a vcp, but the cost of the training course is circa 1k.

i will prob take a punt on this qualification (only need 2 exams 669 & 693) the 652 was really easy (though i do use hyperv in works domain). i do need to check out med-v and app-v thou. and with the vouchers (as per another thread) i can do these two tests for a combined £88 on a second shot, its a bit of a now brainer
