If you have MCITP EA on server 2008 R2

and you want to upgrade to windows server 2012 how should you go about doing this?

I heard two of the MCITP EA certs are expiring in July next year

    they are 70-647 and 70-643

so do you have to get upgraded before the July of next year?

    Hi,

yes, both of the exams are being retired on 31st July 2013.

If you already have either MCITP:SA or MCITP:EA, you have already been awarded the MCSA: Server 2008, and so only need the 70-417 upgrade exam to gain MCSA: Server 2012.

Even after July you will still have the MCITP:SA (640, 642 & 646) track available to gain the new MCSA: Server 2008, which can then be upgraded as above.

    HTH.
