    Hey guys,

    I have a formula I need to rearrange, but I'm hitting a brick wall, and was wondering if anyone can help out. I'm trying to isolate B below.

    The Initial formula is:

    R = (O*B)+B

    I've managed to get it to

    (R/O)-(B/O) = B

    Or (R/B)-(B/B) = O
    which equates to (R/B) - 1 = O

    But its escaping me how to isolate B. I Vaguelly recall something along the lines of R/B being the same as R*Be-1 (B to the power of -1)

    Can anyone help?

    Factor B out of the RHS:

    R = B * (O + 1)

    rearrange:

    B = R / (O + 1)

    Ah yes. thanks. Its been years since I've done any of the formula rearranging stuff.

    Cheers.
