    Hi Guy's,

Could someone explain why you would need makeboot.exe. Because the intention as far as I know is to boot to windows 2000 to repaire it. Why the 16-bit version?

    Cheers

I am assuming that the makeboot is for dos and makeboot32 is for windows but correct me if I am wrong.

Are you saying that you can repair DOS or Windows 9.x with the windows 2000 setup disk's?

OMG! my test machine has just booted itself. Freaky!!! I swear I didn't touch it. I'm a good meter away.

It can't be, no offence, because I've just gone through windows 2000 recovery using a set of boot disks I created with makeboot. They take you to the windows 2000 set upscreen.

I think I'll do the same with makeboot32 & see if I can spot the difference.
