How well does Mac OS X run on intel machines

I have a HP dv9288 and I'm finding hard to find reliable info to say if it will run at all or well.

    Thanks in advance

Do know about performance but Intel CPUs are supposed to be totally compatible with MAC os X

The Mac Mini (runs OS X) that I have is quite nippy, running on a Intel c2d 1.6ghz chip with 1/2 Gb or Ram. To those that read my last post about Mac's, yep I finally got the replacement from Apple yesterday :)

I'll also try install OS X in VMware, when I can be bothered

The thing about OS X is that it was written to support specific hardware, i.e. that found on the Mac's. This is different to the way that windows is written.

So to answer the OP's question I don't think that it will run at all.
