    Hi

    None of my family seem to be very interested, so I thought I'd talk about the highlight of my work day on here instead.

    A non-IT colleage at work was having a tidy out of some old cupboards, and found and passed on to us this piece of computing history:

    An original BBC Micro, complete with 5.25 inch floppy drive.:biggrin

    Hopefully, its between me and my boss, as the techs aren't that interested. I think he said I could take it home, and if so, it will be in pride of place on my desk by Monday night, next to my Casio VL-Tone. Its going to be fun playing on one of these again. I had my first database and programming experiences on one of these in Junior School back in 1987.

    Can't wait to get it working.

    They had these in my high school in 1990! There used to be two kick ass games for it. A taxi game and a kinda little red riding hood game with a witch in a house. Good times fo shizzle
