For people who have done this one, is it possible to use a 2 or 3 virtual machines such as virtual box?

also, could you recommend a book you found was good material and the distribution you found best for this exam.

    many thanks!

    Hi

I havent taken Linux + but have done a cbt, however I dont see why you cant use a couple of vm's to get used to the cli and how Linux is structured, I would suggest 1 debian based vm and one redhat based vm as things are in slightly different places and the inittab is slightly different between the 2 distro's.

I passed Linux+ a few years ago, I'd suggest the Sybex book.
    ISBN: 978-0-7821-4389-8

The exam isn't flavor specific, so choose a linux distro that you are comfortable with...
    I'd go for Debian ;)
    Good luck.
