A friend of mine has just told me that she's going larping, which then sparked a "who's the bigger nerd" debate, with me of course insisting its me although I am mortified as I've never done this so she's bested me there!

This being an IT related forum potentially packed full of nerds and geeks I wondered, have you ever been larping before? If so, what was the theme and what did you make of it?
I'm not sold on the idea although I'll try anything once, OK most things, OK a small few things I've researched heavily on the net first.

Live action role playing ha ha! It's massive apparently. Where you get dressed up as wizards or elves etc
