When did we lose the language filters in CF?

Used to be that shite, etc was filtered out, but it doesnt seem to any more.

I'm not overly bothered personally, but just noticed it today.

I think it was at about the time we lost the whole database. We also had a chatroom too (remember  ) and I don't think SimonV reinstalled all the special non standard additions after upgrading the boards software.

Shame really as I miss the chatroom/bar.

I wasn't around in that time, but another forum actually got fed up of the swearing and changed the words to something else - sh*t -> tulip.
    Makes for great reading! :)

The Censorship Options are still enabled it was just that the word S hit had been entered without a space before it and so wasnt working correctly. So try typing **** **** **** or ****er now!!! :)

I once heard that Lenny Bruce was doing a concert and there were dozens of police officers waiting for him to start so that they could arrest him for Obscenity. So he explained the situation to the audience and told them he would be substituting the names of flowers for swear words. He told them what flowers would be what swear words and said he was sorry to have to do the concert like that but he didn't want to be arrested again. Then he starts the concert by saying "So there was this Mexican C***sucker"
