    Not necessarily. Just a connection that's rated for higher speeds/loads than the standard patch cables used to connect individual PCs to the switch. Imagine 25 PCs all trying to hit the default gateway at the same time.

    Well, After Reciving alittle money from my Godfather, I scraped together what I had already, And buught myself a Cisco Catalyst Switch 1900 WS-1924C-A off Ebay for £55 inc Postage

    Not bad I dont think :)

    I can play around with this and my 48 port hub now as well (I also have way to many ports as well, Ill have in total 78 ports, and only 2 computers using them heh)

    But still, its the learning that counts, Im going though the chapters in my N+ book, Getting rougly 70-80% on the end of chapter review tests in the book

    With abit of hard work Ill be doing fine :)
