    Hi

I have recently got stuck with the web design module. Basically, I hope this doesn't sound too arrogant, I have found it really dull and uninspiring bewcause I haver done a large amount of it before. (Even the flash stuff).

I am currently finishing off web site comission number 4 and a large hole in my understanding has come to light. Web stores - I know nohting.

Since I really want to work in web design and build up a business it am sure I will need to know about it.

Now, I could finish of the design module and then do the eCommerce one, or I could find some other way (like what???) to get up to speed on setting up shopping carts and so forth. I can do the course for £800 as home study.

    Anybody got any thoughts?

    Hi Edward,

Stick with the design as it will lead you to the e-commerce. Whilst you are at it pick up a book on database design. (Your preferred choice, probably My SQL)

Shopping carts fit into good design or must be similar in look or must be easy to use. Which one applies?

Ther are no short cuts other than other peoples knowledge.
