    Welcome... though I must say, you've accidentally chosen an unfortunate username, as it is the same name as a company that sells illegal study tools for IT certifications. Although I'm not a moderator on this forum, I'd highly recommend that you request a username change... :unsure

    You'd have to ask the CertForums staff that question. However, if I had to guess, it would probably be because:
    1) They might not need any more mods, or
    2) They might not want an employee of a practice exam provider to have moderating privileges, as it would give the apperance that there is a conflict of interest for the forum. For example, if someone were to post a negative opinion about Boson, I'd have the power to delete it (though anyone who knows me long enough or has seen me on forums where I am a mod would know that I never would). Or...
    3) They simply might not like me. :biggrin

    The reason I say "Although I am not a moderator" is as a courtesy to the reader who might mistakenly think that I am a mod due to my heavy activity on the forums.

    I am hoping to revive my IT career in the software testing or systems analysis field. I used to work for Trend Micro as a tech support engineer, and was a network admin during the Win NT days, then life moved me into electronics testing.

    So you have no interest in changing your username to something that isn't a braindump that devalues our hard-earned certifications?
