Hi guys, I'm just about to start the mcdst certification course via icslearn and have just found the site. I'm 29 and currently a stay at home mum to a 6 month old boy but I want to break into IT Helpdesk Support asap so any tips from you that are doing or have done the same course would be most welcome.

Hope to talk to someone soon :-)

    Gilly

Welcome to the forum, as you are doing it from home, i take it you will be using the microsoft press books, so there will be alot of reading......and try and get some videos on the course, i find it breaks up the chore of reading all the time, you should have a look on ebay for cd roms of the course

Welcome and best of luck with the MCDST. The Sybex book on MCDST is a good read too. 8)
