Well after a really long time studying 2 nights a week I finally passed with 744 was hoping for more but just got a bad set of questions. Now it's time to start on the OS.

Sorry I haven't posted in ages but i've had a real bad year, my brother inlaw died from cancer at 22 years old and now my father has been diagnosed, can't get much worse.

So to make up for it here's a question, I've just read about the new update for the A+ how is this going to affect us taking the 2003 will we be able to do the updates, if this is going to be such a big shake up then will the 2003 still be worth it's salts. Cheers in advance hope someones got some positive news.

First - last time I looked there was no comment on CompTIA's site about updates.

Even when they *do* announce it there will be a fair amount of time before they switch over. So you will have plenty of warning about taking the OS exam.

And lastly - the exams results do not go away. Once passed they don't expire. Up to you if you want to retake later, but it isn't required.

Cheers Harry just saw the news section here and got worried, should have checked comptia's website, but there was a mention of a change while taking the exam. Glad it's all going to be worthwhile (light at the end of the tunnel).

Congrats!! Just passed today myself with 758. OS booked for next friday so guess what I'll be revising every night before then. Well, apart from tonight, off out to celebrate.
