Just in case anyone was interested  passed Network+ 2007 today with a 790. Quite relieved by the end of it as I got the usual mixed bag of marks just given away and a few stinkers too.

Really hate that session at the end of the exam where you have to go through a brief questionnaire and then have to wait those fateful few seconds before your mark is revealed. Seemed like an eternity :ohmy

Anyway, onwards and upwards. ITIL v3 Foundation next (hoping to get through that one quite quickly as I've looked at the courseware and it looks pretty dull to be honest). MCDST after that and then who knows what awaits :biggrin

Just wish I could get a job at the moment but have got an interview (for a non-IT related post) with the Local Authority next week so you never know. At least it would tide me over until that hallowed IT post comes up :cheers

I used several different media to study for Network+. The Sybex book by David Groth and Toby Skandier, the Labsim Testout software and the ExamCram practice exam disk.

I found the Sybex book a bit hard going at first but once you get used to it's writing style, it's actually quite good and in depth. The Testout software is very good and I highly recommend it. It also includes some practice exams at the end.

I found the practice exams very useful to cement the knowledge gained from the other areas and to get used to the style of questions that you're likely to face in the actual exam.
