I've still got my old one somewhere and a N64 and a couple of Gamecubes and an Xbox and a couple of 360s and a PS3 and a couple of Wiis.

My mate has bought 2 brand new mega drives off ebay thinks the price will carry on going up! i said people will prob decide retro gaming is boring and not want them any more!

 

We were discussing these at work not too long ago.

Isn't it funny how we have some amazing video games that are technically amazing and so beautiful to look at yet the first thing we'll do with our "next Gen" console or Power house, over spec'd pc is either play DOOM or install a bunch of emulators and play SOR or Sonic 1 until our eyes bleed?

They definitely don't make 'em like they used to. If i didn't have an original mega drive still working i'd definitely pick this up.

 

It arrived back in England for me a couple weeks back - i go back next wednesday for a few weeks so cant wait to get the old games out
