Not bad at all. Not brilliant IMO. 6 out of 10. Makes you jump in parts and loads of action, just a bit drawn out for my liking but a definite one to watch 8)

Was it true to the original concept are did it have a different slant on things?

No it kept to it perfectly if you ask me. My girl didn't have a clue what was going on, resulting in an interesting conversation driving home about how John Connor was older than his father, but it was good mate. You'd like it :D

Cool, I was a bit worried that it might end up being another T3 which the only good part in it imo was the end where it made Skynet into a virus....and the but where Krtianna Lokken had nothing on :)

It's entertaining but that's about it. Then again, what else could one ask for from a movie franchise such as this? If you like man vs machines movies with more depth than you'd have to see blade runner, the ghost in the shell anime and its most famous subsidiary: the matrix (the animatrix collection is so much better than the movie trilogy). Terminator Salvation is way better than T3 (not that its a hard thing to acomplish...) and judging from the end of the movie, we're gonna see some more of skynet in the near future (no pun intended hehe)...

surely 'man movie' would be better?

don't think I've got much chance of dragging my gf to this, couldn't get her in to Star Trek and only managed to get her to watch Iron Man through clever trickery.

I hate chick flicks, being a horror/action film fan I always imagine just as the soppy bit starts the knife wielding maniac burst in and kills the people.

Well that's what I do if I get dragged to watch one of those films it makes it more entertaining :D

Hoping to watch this at the weekend. Hope it's better than Star Trek, thought that had such a weak story/plot (and I'm a Trek fan).

Saw this last night and I have to say it was better then I hope - it was definatly better then Wolverine. I enjoyed the fact that the film didnt stay with Christan Bale all the time, loved the Michael Ironside was in itm and some the the effects for the various Terminator models was fantastic. It is at is heart a popcorn move, not overly encumbered by plot but has enough of one to keep things kicking along at a good pace. I'd give it a 7 or 7.5 out of 10.

Just waiting for Transformers in a couple of weeks - on the Imax - Yeah baby!:D
