Joystick IRQ

    Hey guys - yet another question :D

    Does a joystick use the same IRQ as a soundcard, i.e. IRQ 5?
     
    Certifications: A+,N+,CommVault,MCSA/MCSE 2003,VCP 4.1.

    Why dont you take a look for yourself???? You know how to check the IRQ's right?

    I should hope so! Got my exam week tomorrow!

    But i dont use a joystick, and also my sound card comes under IRQ 18 on this PC!

    Ill google it a bit more:D

    Joysticks don't normaly have an IRQ requirement. Because of the way they work they are normally polled rapidly.
